The Drum Lab will be expanding and opening a new location [address to be announced ], opening it's new doors on October 1st, 2006. This will be our 5th year in business. More details to be announced later. In the meantime, it's business as usual at the Lab.

The Drum Lab continues the Thursday night weekly ensemble class called, Band Practice. Every Thursday night from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM. The format of the class is as follows: 4 drummers sign up and are given 2 songs to learn the week before the class. Each drummer plays both songs one time each and then we take a short break and then each drummer plays a 2nd time. Drummers are playing with a guitarist / singer and a bass player and will receive feedback, constructive direction from the musicians and the the Drum Teacher. It's a great chance for a drum student to gain more practical experience playing and interacting with real musicians and playing in a band. Focus of the class is song structure, orchestrating the song with the drum set, tempo & arriving prepared. Call now to reserve your spot. Class fee is $50.00 per student, each session.
